Dr. Monica Lau

Dr. Monica Lau focuses on providing gentle, caring dentistry to patients of all ages. She enjoys practicing all areas of general dentistry but has a special interest in orthodontics and does both braces and Invisalign. Dr. Lau graduated from the University of Alberta in 2003 with a D.D.S and a Bachelor of Medical Science. She started her own practice (ABC Dental Care) in December 2006. Dr. Lau was born and raised in Edmonton, but also speaks Cantonese. Outside of her office, Dr. Lau enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Philip Wu

Dr. Philip Wu enjoys taking the time to talk to his patients and to get to know them. He enjoys practicing all areas of general dentistry, including orthodontics (braces). Dr. Wu completed his Bachelor of Science degree and dental training at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2002 with his D.D.S. He also teaches at the University of Alberta (Faculty of Dentistry) as a part-time clinical instructor. Dr. Wu grew up in Taiwan, but moved to Canada when he was 12 years old; hence, he is also fluent in Mandarin. In his free time, Dr. Wu enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Jessie Jacob

Dr. Jessie Jacob prides herself on her commitment to improving patients’ oral health. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India (1994) and later moved to Canada in 1999. Dr. Jacob completed the Advanced Placement program at the University of Alberta, graduating with a D.D.S in 2004. She has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry and has strong skills in oral surgery, including most wisdom teeth extractions. As well, Dr. Jacob is a part time clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Alberta. She also speaks Malayalam, and understands Hindi. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at her church and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Paul Pang

Dr. Paul Pang strives to place a patient’s comfort as his number one priority. As such, he enjoys taking time to help patients relax and make them feel comfortable. Dr. Pang focuses on clearly explaining treatment options and future outcomes to ensure his patients make informed decisions. He was born in Hong Kong and moved to Vancouver as a child. He attended the University of British Columbia, where he completed his Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees. Dr. Pang practices all areas of dentistry, with a personal interest in endodontics and restorative dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and playing basketball.
