Dr Gearty has been practicing in South Calgary since 1992. She opened her existing office in 1999 having previously worked as an associate dentist in the area. She grew up in Ireland and graduated as a dentist at Trinity College Dublin before working for a short time in rural Ireland, Cambridge and London (UK). She moved to Alberta in 1988, certified to work as a dentist in Canada and worked in Oyen, Alberta before moving to Calgary in 1992.
