What it is like being a Dentist in Kitsilano
Kitsilano is a great place to work and live as a dentist. The small stores all along west 4th avenue are all great places to shop and the restaurants always have friendly staff. When the office is busy and I need to grab a quick lunch, Whole Foods and Safeway are close with a wide selection of choices. For extended lunches Burgoo Bistro and Connie’s Cookhouse are some of my favorite places to sit down for a bite to eat when I can. On a sunny day, Kits Beach is a great place to enjoy a break from work and the best beach in Vancouver. Kitsilano Barbers is my place of choice when it comes to getting a haircut as the staff there are wonderful. Kerrisdale Dry Cleaners(in Kitsilano) always do a great job with great service for your dry-cleaning and alteration needs.
Kitsilano is a great community of merchants and residents. The demographic of the people living in the area is also quite diverse: from the student who go to UBC, the young urban professionals living in single small apartments, families living in some of the nicest homes in the city, and seniors who continue to keep the heritage of the area – they all choose to live in Kits because is it one of the best neighborhoods in the city. I consider myself fortunate to be part of this community not just as a business owner but as a resident also.
