Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide the optimum for our patient’s oral health needs in a comfortable, informed and caring atmosphere. We will provide the framework for your oral health with superb, certified health care providers and doctors certified in all facets of dentistry and recent technology.
A native of Lethbridge, Dr. Gary Fong was born to Lorne & Violet Fong, the second of seven children. He attended the University of Lethbridge, finishing his education at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Alberta in 1980.
Gary has practiced general dentistry, with an emphasis on orthodontics (including the Damon® System and Invisalign®), (since 1982), intravenous (sleep dentistry), sedation (1981), same-day CEREC® crowns, as well as dental implants by NobelSmile™ Canada and 3M’s MDI Mini Dental Implants.
At Sun Dental Group, Dr. Fong has recently added digital freezing techniques, using a virtually pain-free anesthetic injection known as The Wand®. This single-tooth anesthesia delivery device, developed by Milestone Scientific, has received rave reviews from patients and dentists alike.
Dr. Fong is currently president-elect of the Alberta Dental Association and College, and will assume the role of president in 2013.
Dr. Justin Jubber and his five sisters were born to Dr. Vern and Janet Jubber – right here in Lethbridge, Alberta. Prior to completing his dental training, he attended the University of Saskatchewan where he received a degree in Geography. Justin is enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with Dr. Gary Fong and all the staff at Sun Dental Group.
